INSIDE « Création » Event 26th April
A class from L’école Plurielle Maritime located in Brussels, supervised by the Youngsters dance collective, will use their words and bodies to present their creation, written, imagined, and dreamed up by them. Passé sous silence speaks to us about violence against women, to break the silence that surrounds it.
This project was co-coordinated by the IYMF and the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles (TNWB). The IYMF brought two artists to the creative process: musical artist Archil who helped the students design and use soundboxes that will enable them to create soundscapes during the presentation of their theatre piece, and graffiti artist Thyl Seeger who enabled the students to create a mural based on the theme of their theatre piece, nourrishing their creative process.
The result of this artistic process will be shown on stage on April 26th, at the TNWB on the occasion of the Festival “A la scène comme à la ville”. This project is made possible with the support of the European Union and the Fonds Jean Praet.
