Mission

Students from a wide range of disciplines, are all able to apply for individual 3-6 month internships at the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation or in the MUS-E network.

Depending on your qualifications, these internships relate either to the Organization’s strategic activities, to administrative or to sales/marketing functions.

What are the status and entitlements of interns at IYMF?
Internships have a special status reflecting the personal nature of your commitment. That is why they are not remunerated or paid.

IYMF does not remunerate or pay interns. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.

IYMF accepts no responsibility for the medical insurance of interns or for costs arising from accidents and illness incurred during an internship. Interns are fully responsible for arranging at their own expense health and other forms of insurance covering the period of internship at IYMF.

Applicants for internship must provide a medical certificate of good health prior to being admitted to the internship programme.

Your internship springs from your own personal initiative, and as such is part of your ongoing studies; it entails no commitment on the part of IYMF.

As the internship programme is not connected with the recruitment process, the granting of an internship should not be interpreted in any way as a preliminary step towards employment at the Secretariat.

How to apply ?
Your applications must be submitted at least one month before the start of the internship.
