  • MUS-E is implemented in 14 European countries and in Brazil
  • Consolidation of the international MUS-E network and contacts for new countries, draft agreement between the IYMF and national bodies
  • 2 ICC meetings: 3-4 April, Belgium & July, Germany in cooperation with the YMSD
  • Initiation of International Artistic Laboratories with 3 different workshops for the MUS-E artists: 

            1) Music workshop, in the framework of the EFMET project, Belgium, June

            2) Singing workshop, Belgium, July

            3) Movement and Rhythm workshop, Belgium, September

  • Production & broadcasting of the RTBF TV report: 1001 cultures in the “MUS-E on Stage” show
  • Production of DVD and reports of the artistic workshops on music, singing, and movement, illustrating the artistic practices of the MUS-E network
  • Initiation of an international catalogue of all MUS-E artists
  • Preparatory phase of documentary film on MUS-E internationally 
  • Concert of the General Assembly with violinist Gilles Apap and pianist Eric Ferrand, in Brussels, June  
  • Concert “Travelling Voices” at the Cirque Royal in Brussels
  • IYMF participation in 2 European projects: EFMET, as co-organiser, and “Europe’s Diasporas and European Citizenship” as project leader
  • Meetings of IYMF Board and General Assembly
  • Almost 26.000 children benefit from the MUS-E programme
