NEW CALL LAUNCHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL YEHUDI MENUHIN FOUNDATION! 

As part of the Creative Europe called UCREATE, the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation is organizing a one-week residency from the 4th until the 9th of October 2021 and is looking for young musicians to take part. 

UCREATE is a project taking place in Belgium, Hungary, Portugal and Italy led by 4 artistic organizations aiming to use the arts and artistic co-creation as a means for creating social bonds between individuals. Our main objective is to involve local European communities with newcomers and young people at risk of social exclusion around a common artistic project. Sharing experiences, create and achieve something together are the solutions UCREATE is implementing for the social inclusion of newcomers and young individuals at risk of social exclusion.

ELIGIBILITY

For the residency in Belgium, the artistic discipline we will focus on will be music. And we are looking for participants who meet the following:

Age: Between 19 and 25(+2) years old.

Intermediate level in the practice of music (i.e., instrument, vocal, CAM, etc.)

Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion.

Persons from an ethnic minority.

No minimum level of French or Dutch is required.
