Yehudi Menuhin Honoured as Legend at British-Swiss LEGENDS Gala

On 8 April, the British-Swiss community came together at The Dolder Grand in Zurich for the British-Swiss LEGENDS Gala. Our Founder Yehudi Menuhin was nominated as a Legend, honouring his lasting contribution to cultural ties between the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

The event recognised a 2026 cohort of 25 individuals whose work has shaped relations between the two countries. Of the 16 Legends still with us today, most were present at the Gala.

During the evening, a selection of the Legends took part in a British-Swiss Sofa Conversation, reflecting on the moments that shaped their professional journeys. On this occasion, our Executive Vice-President, Marianne Poncelet, was also interviewed for a special article about Yehudi Menuhin legacy.
