The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation is fuelled by continuous collaboration with artists from all cultures. Our Ambassador Artists are the spokespersons of the values embodied by Yehudi Menuhin and promoted by the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation: creativity, integration, sharing, respect for diversity, and transmission. Their objective is to promote the emergence of creativity and encourage the integration of vulnerable target groups through the practice of art. Their engagement encompasses arts teaching through the MUS-E® programme plus art laboratories, vibrant international exchange and music and dance performances.
More than 1,000 Ambassador Artists, across all artistic disciplines, are engaged with the Foundation. Their approach is rooted in the values of intercultural dialogue: listening to oneself and others, reciprocal enrichment and the negotiation of a peaceful and creative way of living together. Our ambassador artists also benefit from initiatives under the patronage of the Foundation such as artist residencies and international collaboration projects.
