Inside « IPPJ »

This project offers to Institutions for youth protection creative workshops for at-risk youth. Participants have the opportunity to explore artistic practices such as podcasting, music production, dance, and video creation. The initiative aims to enhance self-confidence and trust, spark an interest in the arts, and produce high-quality artistic content.

2022

Workshops were organized in partnership with the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles (TNWB) at an IPPJ institution with a group of at-risk young girls, where they were able to create and produce their own podcast and music, guided by artists selected by IYMF and TNWB: podcaster Caroline Berliner and electronic musician Archil. The project was later showcased at the "A la scène comme à la ville" festival at TNWB.
2023

Additional workshops took place at the IPPJ of Saint-Servais in partnership with the TNWB, where young girls had the opportunity to participate in a dance workshop, create their own music to dance to, and produce a short video clip, accompanied by artists selected by IYMF and TNWB: podcaster Caroline Berliner, electronic musician Archil, and choreographer Hendrickx Ntela.
2024

Together with the visual artist Céline the group was introduced to a wide variety of artistic techniques, including photography, collage, scrapbooking, cyanotype painting, and even ceramics. By the end of the workshop, each participant had created a unique and personal artwork that tells a piece of their life story from their own perspective, allowing them to feel empowered through the creative process.
2025

For five days, IYMF artists Céline Cuvelier (visual arts) and Miléna Bochet (video) guided six young girls into the magical world of puppetry. Using recycled materials, they brought their own puppets to life, creating costumes, backgrounds, and stories. Through this imaginative journey, the girls expressed their emotions and captured their creations in short, playful videos.
